College Walk in Hilo, Hawaii is located about two miles from the Hilo airport and three miles from the University of Hawaii in Hilo. College Walk provides a meeting place for academics interested in world class astronomy, marine sciences, and volcanology. The city of Hilo is approximately 30 miles from the Kilauea Volcano and 30 miles from the telescopes at the top of Mauna Kea. It also only a short drive to the Puna district with the quaint villages of Pahoa and Kalapana.
College Walk is more than a home, it is a way of life that fosters the exchange of ideas and opinions. It is our goal to attract academics from Europe and Asia interested in not only touring the beautiful big island, but also contributing their experience to others with diverse academic interests.

Fred is an adjunct practitioner of management at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii (http://fredlins.weebly.com). August is an MBA graduate of the University of Hawaii and a trained molecular biologist.
